Acer has announced new Aspire AS8950G-9839 laptop with the 2nd Generation Intel Core i7-2630QM (Sandy Bridge) processor and the latest ATI Mobility Radeon 6850 graphics processor with 2GB of dedicated video memory.
The Acer Aspire AS8950G-9839 features a 18.4-inch CineCrystal LED back-lit display with full high-definition (1080p), 8GB of RAM (upgradeable to 16GB), a 750GB SATA drive (with support for up to 1.5TB), BluRay drive, ans Acer CineSurround sound system with five built-in speakers and a dedicated subwoofer
Other specifications include HDMI port, a firewire port, an eSATA port, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit ethernet, dual-mode touchpad, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and digital microphone.
The Acer Aspire AS8950G-9839 will be available next week (Jan. 9) and starting price of $1599.99.
