Asus has officially released the U43SD Bamboo laptops collection, features smoky brown bamboo exteriors on the display cover and palm rest and sleek brushed aluminum surfaces and a seamless chiclet keyboard.

The Asus U43SD boasts up to the latest Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors, a 14-inch LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display, Intel GMA HD integrated graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M dedicated graphic, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 750GB of storage space, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, optional Bluetooth 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 connectivity, HDMI output and either a 6- or 8-cell battery.

Asus UX21 and UX31 Zenbooks

Asus has announced five new Zenbook line of ultrabooks, including the UX21 and UX31 series. The Asus UX21 series includes the UX21E-DH52 and UX21E-DH71, while the Asus UX31 series includes the UX31E-DH52, UX31E-DH53, and UX31E-DH72.
The Asus UX21 comes in 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel and up to 5 hours of battery life, while the Asus UX31 is packs a 13.3-inch display with 1600 x 900 resolution and up to 7 hours of run time.

All Zenbooks feature an aluminum alloy casing up to 0.67-inch thick, the Super Hybrid Engine II power management technology, the USB Charger+, a V-shaped channel (a custom cooling technology), and a unique copper fin design for improved airflow.

Other hardware includes a 4GB of RAM, a Bang and Olufsun audio system, a SATA 6.0 Gbps SSD, stereo speakers with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower technology, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, micro HDMI and mini VGA out, and USB 3.0.
