Dell Inspiron 13z and 14z laptops with Sandy Bridge, USB 3.0 and aluminum lids

Dell has upgraded the Inspiron 13z and Inspiron 14z laptops which are packed with Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor options, an aluminum display lid and palm rest, built-in SRS Premium Sound HD, USB 3.0 and Wireless Display (WiDi) support.

The Dell Inspiron 13z laptop comes equiped with a 13.3-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, a 320GB/500GB hard drive or an 128GB SSD, and a 4- or 6-cell battery.

The Dell Inspiron 14z laptop has a 14-inch screen with 1366 x 768 resolution, a 500GB/640GB/750GB hard drive, a DVD writer and 4-/6-/9-cell battery.

The new Dell Inspiron 13z and 14z laptops also boast up to 8GB of RAM, a Chiclet keyboard,, a 7-in-1 card reader, a HD webcam, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 3.0.

The Dell Inspiron 14z is available beginning today in several countries worldwide and starts at $599.99. The Inspiron 13z is launching today in select countries in Asia and costs about $739.
